Studio Members: Bring a Guest to Platypus Ceramics! 🪴

We love that you want to share the "mud" experience with your favorite people. To keep the studio running smoothly for everyone, we’ve added a simple guest pass option to our online shop.
 
How it Works
The guest fee is $35 per person. This covers their use of the studio space and equipment. 
 
The Quick Guidelines
You must provide all instruction and guidance to your guest 
Booking: Please give us at least 24 hours' notice before bringing a guest.
Hours: Guest visits are available Monday–Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM while Erin is in the studio. (If you need a different time, just reach out!)
Capacity: One guest per member at a time, please.
Supplies: Guests should use your clay. Firing, underglazes, and dipping glazes are included in your clay purchase; brush-on glaze fees apply as usual.
Wheel Use: Priority goes to members and students. Please limit guest wheel time to 2 hours.
Cleanup & Finishing: You are responsible for guiding your guest through cleanup and ensuring their pieces are labeled and finished (trimming and glazing) 
Kiddos: If you're bringing a child, please remember there is a one-time waiver to sign for insurance purposes.
